• Alexandra Ditchkus MA, LAPC

I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) with experience in college counseling, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, and mental health outpatient settings. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable exploring life’s challenges. My goal is to provide an environment where you can feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to take steps toward healing and growth.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, grief, relational challenges, or exploring your identity, I know how overwhelming these experiences can feel. Together, we can gently uncover what’s no longer serving you, address maladaptive patterns, and explore practical tools to help you move through life’s challenges with greater ease and confidence. My goal is to meet you where you are and support you in finding the path that feels right for you.

I believe in tailoring therapy to meet your unique needs. Drawing from various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches, I strive to find what resonates most with you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I’m committed to creating a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported in your journey.

One of my core passions is helping you cultivate self-compassion. I believe that learning to treat yourself with kindness during challenging moments can lead to profound growth and healing. Together, we’ll explore how to embrace this practice, uncover your strengths, and create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

Wherever you’re starting from, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your path toward healing and personal growth. You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone—let’s work together to help you move toward the life you envision for yourself.
