• E. River Goodman MSW, LSW

Your journey has been unique. As your therapist, I'm here to walk alongside you as we explore your experiences, identity, and beliefs together. Here, you'll find a place of safety, created to support your healing and growth, where you can feel truly heard and accepted. With nearly 15 years of experience in the field, I'm here to help you claim your power and build the peaceful and fulfilling life you deserve.

    Are you:

Working on embracing, understanding, or navigating life with Autism/ADHD/Neurodivergence?

Exploring identity or relationships? (LGBTQIA2S+, polyam, kink)

Moving through trauma, depression, grief or loss?

Living with chronic conditions or disability?

    An academic or gifted/formerly gifted?

I offer experienced, affirming support for members of the queer community, neurodivergent individuals, those recovering from complex trauma and abuse, managing chronic disability, depression, suicidality, or self-harm, personality disorders, and working through difficult life transitions and events. My focus is on helping you discover authentic ways of being while providing caring, trauma-informed, growth-oriented therapy.

I draw from various therapeutic practices including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness and Nervous System Regulation, Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches. Each person's path is unique, and we'll collaborate to find what works best for you. I do not utilize or endorse CBT or ABA approaches in my professional practice.

As an autistic, ADHD, trans* gender queer, disabled therapist, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to our work together. I practice from a framework of disability justice, racial equity, and social liberation, creating a space where all parts of your identity are welcomed and honored. I acknowledge I work and live on the unceded ancestral lands of many Indigenous peoples, and benefit from past and continued oppression of BIPOC and I am committed to ongoing learning, growth, and accountability.
