Lauren Richey MS, LPC
Over the last 7 years as a provider, I take pride in being personable, contemporary, and professional in my approach to offering therapy.
I prefer a combination of Psychodynamic Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. Within my treatment approach, I am passionate about self-acceptance, the power of perspective, the importance of self-care, and the benefits of mindfulness. My mantra for healing is: “To provide a therapeutic environment where my clients feel safe, accepted, understood, and supported."
My hybrid approach to treating mental health adapts appropriately to the needs of the individual. It’s important to me that that my clients and I work together to find an approach that best helps them obtain their goals.
I have experience working with children and families, couples, the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals at various levels of care. As a provider, I specialize in addressing various mood disorders, treating symptoms of PTSD, supporting individuals through life changes, and providing guidance to those adjusting to unforeseen circumstances.
